Abstract

The paper discusses the place of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for sustainable development in Nigeria. The application of ICT to various sectors in Nigeria has the potential of bringing about sporadic and sustainable development. Various ICT resources that could enhance sustainable development are discussed in the paper. Also sectorial input of ICT was discussed by the paper. The paper concludes that the application of ICT has emerged as the most radical development of the 21st century and is indispensable to Nigeria's sustainable development effort.
