Abstract
Purpose: This study examines the level of satisfaction and assessment of service quality of the library and information services provided by the Resource Center (Library), National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Methodology/Design/Approaches: An online questionnaire was used to collect the primary data from the respondents. The survey was designed in such a way that a single respondent was not allowed to give more than one response
Findings: The results emphasise that 89 (46.1%) of the institute utilised the services mainly for Fashion Design, Fashion Technology and Accessories Design Department students. There is a lower percentage of PG students, 41 (21.3%), and female students are more than male students. Most students were unaware of the Inter-library loan services. Online databases and print collections are rated as the most important collections in the RC.
Value / Originality: This study summarises user satisfaction and service quality at the National Institute of Fashion Technology's Resource Center.
