Abstract
The authors addressed the following research questions:
- Did the articles with UNL Lead Authors produce more citations than articles with UNL Contributing Authors?
- Did OA, as identified by Scopus at the journal and article levels, generate more citations?
- Were citation totals associated with the number of extra-publisher OA avenues?
- Were some publishers associated with higher citation counts than others?
- Did some subjects, by Library of Congress classification, generate more citations than others?
