Abstract
First paragraph:
In conducting inspection of sheep on haemosporidiosis in some districts of South-Kazakhstankoi region, we repeatedly observed theileriasis and anaplasmosis of sheep.
Note: Numerous other experimental data in this paper are omitted from the present translation. This report is of special interest because it establishes the role of an argasid tick as a vector of blood protozoa. Translation made and distributed by Medical Zoology Department, U. S.
