Abstract
Tom Bee of the Dakota Nation has been recording and producing music for over 30 years. Tom exploded onto the music scene as one of the original rock and rollers in Indian Country with his rock band XIT in the 1970's. Today he is a national spokesperson for the Native music industry as well as the head of a successful recording label, Sound of America Records (SOAR). Join us as we take a look at the life and times of Tom Bee and his work to bring Native music into the mainstream.
