An overview of the cestode (tapeworm) order Amphilinidea Poche, 1922, a large group of large endoparasitic worms infecting the body cavity of freshwater and marine teleost (bony) fishes and freshwater turtles. Covers the morphology of the adults and larvae and the life cycle of a representative species, Austramphilina elongata, and a discussion of other species in the group, including their taxonomy and phylogeny.
