Abstract

Equations of transport for the fractionating stable carbon isotope 13C have been formulated and implemented in a non-equilibrium reactive chemical transport code. Application is demonstrated by solution of a generic problem. The new modeling capability adds a new dimension to investigation of groundwater evolution.
