Wieczorowski S. - The alimentary tract and the lungs parasites in hares in Białystok voivodship
87 parasitic sections were made of hares coming from Białystok voivodship territory. The investigations lead to the conclusion that the hares are 100 percent invaded by parasites. Among the roundworms of the alimentary tract, the most frequent are the following: Trichostrongylus retortaeformis (78.1 percent) and Trichocephalus sylvilagi (43 percent). Coccidiosis is also widespread; it was found in 77 percent of the investigated animals.
