Abstract

In the medical profession, the impact of technology on our society has been startling, and it is threatening to outrun our ability to respond through legal institutions to the profound questions raised by the New Medicine. In answering these new questions of life and death we are engaged in the process of defining the very essence of our society. This issue of the Nebraska Law Review contains a series of articles from the Medical Jurisprudence Symposium.
