Abstract

Child welfare and human resources (HR) data need to be connected to answer important workforce questions. Child welfare data tells us about caseload and supervision. HR data tells us about employee background, tenure, and training. This video highlights some of the common challenges when trying to link the two data sets and how the QIC-WD is overcoming those challenges by creating common identifiers and builidng data sets. It features members of the evaluation and workforce teams, Dr. John Fluke, Dr. Dana Hollinshead, Dr. Megan Paul, Dr. Martin Hall, Dr. Anita Barbee, and Dr. Michelle Graef, along with QIC-WD site data coordinators.
