The Range Beef Cow Symposium has the reputation of being one of the outstanding symposia in the United States. The target audiences for the symposium are commercial cow/calf producers, industry, and extension personnel. Many of the articles are research updates written by experts and scientists with national reputations.

The symposium is presented by the Cooperative Extension Services and the Animal Science Departments of Colorado State University, South Dakota State University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the University of Wyoming.
